DNA biodiversity
DNA: New methodology for biological surveys
Amphi Consult have through years of collaboration with University of Copenhagen developed DNA methods for mapping of biodiversity.
Research break-through has been published in the reputable Molecular Ecology (December 2011). Results showed the presence of amphians in a lake to be confirmed by DNA analysis from a small amount of a water sample.
Amphi Consult are constantly developing these scientific methods for practical applications. A collection of samples from 2011 are now being tested with the new methods. Amphi Consult are ready to receive water samples for examination of selected species.
